The Morse Code Tetra is an exquisite and rare species from Peru, known for its stunning gold-tinted heads and translucent bodies. Growing up to 1.25 inches, this small but hardy fish thrives in groups of 5 or more and can even thrive in tanks as small as 10 gallons. With its playful nature and love for exploration, it is best kept in a heavily planted aquarium with peaceful tank mates. The general care for this species is often compared to that of the neon tetra. One of the toughest aspects of their care is making sure their food is small enough to fit in their mouths.
